Super Sandy

Can you believe that we are feeling the effects of this storm in Northern Indiana?  Amazing.  Just goes to show you the size of this storm.  I feel for all those individuals out on the East Coast as they repair and rebuild.

Oh, by the way I heard a good quote yesterday from Jason Lewis.  He stated "To all those Global Warming extremists that said our children's children would never see snow, tell that to West Virginia!"

Notre Dame vs. Oklahoma

Ok, I had my doubts coming into this game.  We were playing at Norman against a very good offense and just an overall tough opponent.

What I seen was simply amazing.  Oklahoma came out with an up tempo, pro style offense and Notre Dame handled like it was just another simple offense.  They bent, but didn't break.

I'm sold.  Notre Dame is for real this year and can take on anybody.  And I mean anybody (Alabama)!

Libya

I wish someone would finally come out with the damn truth on this issue.  What I do know is support for the attach was not granted, 2 Navy Seals went in on their OWN after being denied 3 times and subsequently were killed, and we had a drone in the sky during the attack broadcasting the attack to the parties in our government.

This is total bullshit!  Our Ambassador was brutally murdered, along with individuals trying to keep him alive.  What does the leader of our country tell us?  "We will investigate this matter and bring the FOLKS responsible for this to justice".  How about we bring you to justice Mr. President?  Anywhere else you look, when something like this is so screwed up, the person up top is ultimately responsible.

Time to take responsibility and you can't blame this one on Bush.

Game 2 World Series

Looks like "small-ball" won again!  Anyone see that bunt?  I didn't, but I heard it!  I was listening to the game on the radio (ESPN 1000 Chicago) and heard the announcers say "it just keeps rolling!".  Amazing that this old form of baseball is still alive today in a power driven era.

As much as I respect Jim Leyland, I am definitely pulling for these Giants this year.  They just have grit and determination that I love to watch.  Stay tune people....

Obama's America 2016

I just finished watching the movie Obama's America 2016.  Very heart wrenching.  I can not describe the feelings I had watching the movie.  Fear, sadness, rage, and most importantly dumbfoundness. I only beg people to watch this movie before this year's election to just see what Obama is about.

If we do not vote this politically insane person out of office this year, buy guns and ammo cause we will definitely need them for the next four years!

Conclusion on Debate (little late)

Here is my perspective of the debate...Obama acted like a asshole and Romney acted like a president.  I mean really, did Obama have to spend the whole debate telling everyone that Romney was lying about EVERY subject he talked about?  I kept asking myself, why is he doing this and then I realized something.

In the 2008 campaign someone spoke of this type of campaign tactic.  They stated that when one party has nothing to offer, they will do their very best to paint a negative picture on the other candidate.  They will make him out to be a monster and someone the voters should run from.  They will claim the other candidate is lying about everything and can not make the necessary changes needed.

Guess who these very words came from?  Here is a hint...he is the current candidate using these tactics.

Tonight's TV forecast

Tonight we have many programs happening on TV.  First, game seven of the NLCS is being broadcasted on Fox.  At the same time, the Bears and Lions will be kicking off for Monday night football.

But most importantly, the last Presidential Debate will be broadcasted at 9 o'clock.  This by far is the most important program tonight.  The debates topic is foreign affairs and if Romney does not shove this one down Obama's throat, we have no chance.  Please hammer him for Libya. Please...

Tonights Presidential Debate

Tonight is the last Presidential Debate for this year's election.  The subject will be foriegn affairs.  Now if you ask me, Romney should clearly pound this subject right up Obama's pooper scooper.  Anyone who let's one of our foreign Ambassador's be killed, should not be in the position as President.

Remember people, this has not happened since the 1970's (I think 1979).  The Ambassador requested extra security for weeks before the attack and received NONE.  Keep all of this in mind.

Notre Dame vs. BYU

This weeks game featured a undefeated team at home versus a 4-3 team.  Now I have said all along that this BYU team was not a chump, and they proved that point to me and many other people yesterday.  Notre Dame had to eek out a close win and now have to plan on this weeks HUGE game in Norman.

What we seen yesterday was two good defenses not giving in to anything.  I am really surprised that Notre Dame gained over 200 yards on the ground when BYU's rush defense was ranked third coming into the game.  Solid performance by our offensive line and backs.  Go Irish!

Cardinal's Dynasty

The other day I briefly wrote about the possible collapse of one dynasty (Yankees).  Today I write about a current dynasty right before our eyes.  Now I'm not much of a St. Louis Cardinals fan, but what they have done over the past years is simply amazing.

First, no one had them winning it all last year.  After being down to their last strike, they come through and win another World Series.  This is after coming into the playoffs as a wild card team.

So after last season, they lose arguably the best player in Major League Baseball (Pujols) and arguably the best Manager in baseball (LaRossa).  One would then think they would degress a little, right?  Nope.  They come into the playoffs again as a wild card team, were one strike away from being eliminated (Nationals), and are only one game away from the World Series.  Maybe the Cubs management should take some lessons from this team...

Yankees dynasty

We may very well be seeing the end of the Yankees dynasty happen right before our eyes.  Jeter is out and probably at the end of his career (another 2 to 3 years), A-Rod is going to be gone after this year, Swisher won't be back, and who knows with the pitching staff.

Some will say the Yanks will just go out this off-season and do what they have always done, sign every top free agent.  Problem is, this year's free agent class isn't worth a hoot.  So, that leaves them to fix it internally.  Good luck with that, as they have traded most of their top prospects away over the years.

Hate to see it, but it is coming to an end....

Stanford vs. Notre Dame

What a game.  Sloppy on both sides of the ball (especially the offense), but pure heart and determination that hasn't been seen in awhile.  If you would have to me that this team would have won the same way under Weis or Willingham, I would smack you in the mouth.

What we are seeing is something we haven't seen since the Holtz years.  GUTS.  This is instilled in the players and preached about by the coaches.  Determination and the will-to-win.  I am very impressed

The V.P. Debate

Here is my opinion on the V.P. Debate.  Biden acted like an ass because he wanted too and Ryan performed exactly like he should have.  I believe that the debate was a tie between both candidates, with a little swaying more Ryan's way.

Look, Biden's actions were well thought of and did what they were supposed too.  No one is talking about Ryan and what he said.  Instead, people are talking about Biden acting like a total buffoon.  Mission accomplished by the Left.

The Right should have known this was going to happen with what happened at the presidential debate.  The Left is grabbing for whatever they can, because they know they lost their ass in the last debate.  Now lets see what happens in the next Presidential Debate.

Democrat or Republican

Seems that the biggest debate for the next few weeks is who should the American people be voting for in the next election.  One should weigh all the options that are being presented to us by both candidates.

Should we vote for the incumbent who promised us promises he couldn't keep or the challenger who states the present facts and offers solutions.  I tend to lean a little towards the latter.
